This resource is a great way of randomly choosing a student from your class and can be set up with multiple classes to choose from. Most of my resources are for Business or Computing Related Topics but this activity can be used from any subject! The aim of all my resources is to provide lessons / activities of good quality that will add value to your lessons / schemes of work without any extra planning. With provision for student names in classes of 10/16/20 and 30 students on a wheel that can be spun and stopped randomly to choose a random student. Print out the files to allow peer and self assessment in a plenary - the dice are thrown and a question is on each side of the dice which can be answered by students. I have provided the PDF and publisher versions. This is our spin on the popular gameshow “BLOCKBUSTERS” with 25 numbered hexagons that change colour when you click on them. This activity has been created in Powerpoint. Full instructions are included and 5 set up boards for 5 rounds of fun (these can be edited as required!) Students have to come up with 9 factors and then have to arrange those factors in a diamond pattern arranged from most to least important (in their opinion).
